ModAH Conference

The international scientific conference dedicated to modelling in animal health

The Modelling in Animal Health conference (ModAH) is an international scientific meeting for researchers, students, stakeholders and decision-makers interested in quantitative approaches to animal health. It spans topics including infectious disease dynamics, surveillance and early detection, risk assessment, evaluation of control strategies, and links with public health and One Health. By sharing scientific work and discussing methodological advances, the conference supports new collaborations across the field.

The 4th ModAH Conference took place in Nantes, France, from 25 to 27 August 2026. Thank you to all speakers, poster presenters and participants for their contributions to the discussions and the friendly atmosphere throughout the conference. It was a pleasure to welcome everyone to Nantes.

In conjunction with the 2026 conference, a specific event dedicated to the ModAH Hub network was organised before the conference. It provided a forum for ModAH Hub members and partners to exchange on ongoing initiatives, share resources and tools, and discuss future joint activities to strengthen the international community of modellers in animal health.
